Welcome to New York

Welcome to the heart of New York City: Manhattan. This densely populated borough is home to some of the city’s major financial, cultural and commercial centers. You’re going to want to start out your day planning where you want to go and what to bring. Even sticking to a specific area of the city, like Lower Manhattan, covers a vast area. Be ready for a lot of walking and sightseeing. Pack walking shoes and sunscreen, here are a few recommendations from InMotion so you can make the most out of your trip.

The Fearless Girl

When perusing through Wall Street in Lower Manhattan’s financial district, you’ll find yourself coming face-to-face with the Charging Bull, a popular bronze sculpture that has attracted tourists since the 80’s. But these days, the Charging Bull isn’t the only statue attracting attention. On March 7, 2017, The Fearless Girl , with her powerful stance was placed in the way of the Charging Bull. Make sure your phone is fully charged with the Mophie Juice Pack Air Battery Case so you can be sure to send a picture of this fearless girl, to the fearless girl in your life.

Statue of Liberty

Book your tickets well in advance to see this historic statue and some amazing views of the harbor. Tickets to the crown are ideal, but if they are too difficult to get, just pick up some ferry tickets instead to give you grounds access to Liberty Island. Tours are recommended, and the Beoplay’s H4 Bluetooth Wireless Over-Ear Headphones would be perfect for the self-guided audio tour.

One World Trade Center

Make your way to One World Trade Center, the fantastic newly finished skyscraper reigns as the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. It is home to the One World Observatory, which will offer a dazzling view of all five boroughs, as well as the beautiful Ground Zero memorial. Make sure to go on a clear day to get the best views. And bring along the Beoplay A1 pocket speaker to play some of your own elespeaker toic as you rocket up 1776 ft.

Atera

End your long day of sightseeing with a fine dining experience at one of Lower Manhattan’s nicest eateries. This Michelin two-starred restaurant boasts inventive New American style food and ultimate customer satisfaction. Relax and enjoy, for this will be worth the wait (they require 2.5 hours for exquisite food prep!). While you’re waiting for your meal to come out, play around with the Leef iBridge to make sure that you have enough storage on your phone for tomorrow’s adventures.

Pegu Club

One more stop! Make Soho’s first artisanal cocktail lounge a must on your list. Enjoy the popularity of the bustling urban barroom, but make sure to focus on the true gem of the place: Ashley Saunders. The most skilled and up-and-coming mixologist in New York City. With cocktails that are to die for and labeled as an affordable luxury, you won’t regret heading to Pegu Club for your evening fun. Just make sure you have a working phone (we recommend T-Mobile’s 3 week Tourist Sim Card), so that you can call a cab when you realize you’ve stayed later than you planned.
