Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) brought four huge new product announcements and software updates to be released later this year. As the only Apple Authorized Reseller you’ll find in any U.S airport, Apple of new products you’ll find in stores soon.
Apple revealed a new home smart speaker, the HomePod. Apple stresses that this is a state-of-the-art speaker first, and home assistant second. The speaker features 7 tweeters, 6 microphones, and an upward-facing subwoofer. The HomePod is also equipped with an A8 chip that senses when the speaker is placed near a wall and adjusts the speakers accordingly. Siri will help you play Apple Music, answer questions and perform as your special assistant just like on your iPhone. The HomePod will be available at our iStore in the Minneapolis Airport soon.
The star of Apple’s WWDC was the all-new iMac Pro. In addition to the new model, the iMac, Macbook, and MacBook Pro are all receiving upgrades bringing faster Kaby Lake processors, faster SSD options, more RAM configurations, and improved GPUs.
In the past, the iPad Pro has been marketed as a laptop replacement, but for many professionals lacked some performance functions necessary to cut the laptop cord. These two new updated models at 12.9 inches and 10.5 inches include all new features so you can finally leave your laptop at the office.
You’ll be able to improve your work efficiency using Apple’s new file system, called “Files” and improve your multitasking with the dock similar to the one found on other iMac or Macbooks.
The new iPads are also seeing spec upgrade as well, hosting an all new A10x Fusion chip and a 12-core CPU. Probably the most underrated feature of the new iPads is the new 120Hz refresh rate. Allowing for butter smooth response, smoother transitions, and better response with the Apple Pen.
ios 11 will bring a whole new redesign to all iPhones. This new operating system will introduce a Control Center which will feature interactive sliders, a new look, and new customization options. In addition, the lock screen and the Notification Center will be merged together. Finally, the App Store will see a complete redesign, similar to recent iTunes updates.
