While you may have been flying into the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for years, InMotion is new to the area. We’re super excited to be bringing some of our favorite electronics, headphones, and accessories to you, and with our recommendations for your tech, here are some of our favorite places that you should check out in the airport once you’re done visiting us.
We here at InMotion always like to be up to date on the most recent technologies, but we leave style to the experts. That said, Brooks Brothers will always have your back, whether you’re heading to a business meeting, a wedding, or just watched the new season of Queer Eye and want to update your style.
While you’re there, it’s a great place to fill up your Swissgear Synergy Computer Backpack, which has a pocket designed to safely hold your computer. That way, it’s ready to pull out whenever you need it, whether you’re sending a quick email or catching up on your favorite shows on your flight. Plus, with its comfortable straps, it can take any of the extra weight from any new clothes you decide to pick up!
Whether you love sports or hate them, it’s hard to say that they don’t have some of the comfiest merch around. So when you’re about to jump on a plane for hours, why not just throw on a comfortable hoodie emblazoned with a mascot? Who doesn’t want to proclaim that they’re always cheering for the Durham Bulls when they get off in North Dakota or Dubai?
This is also a great place to pick up that toothbrush you forgot, if you’re anything like me.
A staple of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, you’ll practically forget that you’re eating in an airport the second you dig into one of Gordon Biersch’s sliders or try some of their French toast. Sometimes after a long day of travel all you need is to sit back and relax, and their craft beer is not to be missed as long as you’re in Raleigh!
If you love planes, want to get outside for a moment, or just want to feel the wonder you did when you were a kid, the Observation Park is the place for you. Located near the Air Traffic Control Tower, the Observation Park is one of the hidden gems of RDU. You can watch the planes take off and listen to the pilots and air-traffic control talk to each other.
Or, if you just want to sit back and enjoy being outside during your layover, consider bringing along your House of Marley Smile Jamaica In-Ear Headphones. These are noise isolating so you’ll be able to hear your podcast over the roaring of the engines, and their natural design will make you feel right at home in the great outdoors.
Located pre-security in Terminal 2, the meditation room is a great place to de-stress before walking back into the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you’re a frequent meditator, religious, or just looking for somewhere that’s certain to be quiet, the meditation room is an excellent way to get ready for the rest of your busy schedule. It’s important to take time to yourself, and RDU strives to make sure you’re able to get it.
If you’re able to head out of the airport during your layover or you’re looking for something to do outside in Raleigh, the JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University is a gorgeous park with plenty of options to explore. Whether you’re looking to get some exercise or are just hoping to see some butterflies in their garden, this arboretum is internationally recognized for how amazing it is.
While you’re checking out nature, make sure to bring along your Plantronics Backbeat Fit 500 Wireless On-Ear Sport Headphones! These are always great for getting a quick jog in some of the arboretum’s open areas, or to just listen to some of your favorite music and enjoy the chance to walk around and appreciate natural beauty. Plus, they have a super long lasting battery life, so they’ll be right there with you for your whole trip, and for the ride to the airport.
InMotion is excited about our new store in the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. We hope you enjoy both RDU and these great electronics as much as we do!
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
