Jacksonville, Florida, March 2015 – InMotion Entertainment has once again been ranked by Dealerscope Magazine as one of the top 101 Consumer Electronics Retailers. InMotion Entertainment moved up five spots to number 69 from last year’s number 74. Dealerscope first included InMotion Entertainment in their ranking in 2011, at number 90. InMotion Entertainment Group (InMotion) continues to be the only airport retailer included in the report.

The Consumer electronics industry only saw a 3.35% increase from 2013 to 2014, while InMotion experienced an impressive 19.13% increase. InMotion contributes this growth to the superior product brand selection, in-store experiences, consumer loyalty, high-traffic market presence and increased store count. 2014 also noted some significant industry moves, such as RadioShack’s bankruptcy and Sony Retail stores’ closures. 

Dealerscope researched electronics retailers in North America, as well as hardware manufacturers selling direct to consumers, to come up with its Top 101 registry. Information on electronics sales, total sales, and store counts, etc. was gleaned from available sources, including SEC filings, corporate press releases, various electronic business databases and the local press reports.
