InMotion Expands to Two New International Airport Locations

(Jacksonville, Florida) June 6, 2019 — InMotion Entertainment Group, the country’s largest airport-based electronics retailer, announced its expansion into two new international locations, the Alicante Airport in Spain and the Perth Airport in Australia. This expansion follows InMotion’s recent acquisition by WHSmith, a British retailer specializing in transportation station shops.

“International expansion is part of our growth strategy and we will continue to seek such additional opportunities,” said InMotion Entertainment Group’s President and CEO Jeremy Smith. “Our new partnership with WHSmith Travel has been crucial in our ability to open stores in two prominent airports in the world and reaching more customers than ever.”

The new InMotion store in the Alicante Airport (AUS) in Spain is now open in Terminal T1, Floor 2. With InMotion’s successful expansion, Alicante Airport’s 13 million travelers each year now have access to top-notch electronics and expertise at the new store.

The Perth Airport (PER) also serves over 13 million travelers arriving and departing from the largest city in Western Australia. Adjacent to the Perth InMotion store is a WHSmith store, which offers a Long Shot café and a bar for customers in Terminal 4.
